Kelly Marie specialises in Yoga and Ayurveda as a way towards inner balance and finding our True self. Through educating all students on some of the simple and easy methods of self care methods from Ayurveda, we use Yoga as our chosen medicine on the day.
Yoga for Stress relief, Stress comes from our mind relaying messages to the body, this information from the nervous system brings the organs in to ‘Fight or Flight’ mode.
In a Yoga and Ayurveda perspective it is easier to release tension from the body first before we can attend to the mind.
The movement of the body helps bring a single focus to our mind, and this in itself releases stress!
If you are new to Yoga this will be learning new postures and if you are practicing already, Kelly will bring attention to points that help balance your dosha’s through postures and through breath.
Dosha Yoga is so wonderfully attentive and compassionate whatever ‘level’ we are at today.
These workshops are unique to your body and mind type. Kelly Marie includes information and recommendations from the traditional medicine of Ayurveda, to help work with your imbalance at this time in your life.
Ayurveda helps understand and use the whole system of ‘Yoga’, but for each unique individual.
Yoga workshops give time to absorb the techniques…compared to a class which is much shorter, but is a great way to dip into weekly reminders of what we need in any given week.
Workshops allow us the freedom to see what we link to and those things we find more difficult.
These Hatha Yoga workshops are developed for the unique needs of each student, according to their Ayurvedic dosha, whether you are a long term student or a beginner, male or female.

Most people become a bit overwhelmed at how they can use Yoga as a tool for their daily lives. This can be a real stopper for newcomers to join a class or a workshop.
I have no doubt, small bits of Yoga and Ayurveda can be extremely helpful to anyone’s daily routine.
I admit, it takes a little effort.
But that is it. Just a little promise to try something, and keep it going.
I remind myself when I add…that something new can also be something old and remembered from a teacher or guide.
Yoga workshops for adults and children over the age of 12 years in Thurles is in the tradition of Hatha Yoga.
I will write another post on Hatha Yoga and my interpretation at a later date.
