Yoga to Slow Down is aimed at working with the whole functioning system, to find simple ways to reduce the effects of stress and lifestyle hiccups.
These classes are designed to develop our Inner health and wellness. The focus of the mind and better breathing are the priority as you move through familiar gentle Yoga postures.
As we progress, our body learns the deep silence of slowing down, as our skills of concentration grow. We use meditation and other Yoga resources to quiet the mind and allow our Calm to show up.
Yoga to Slow Down is medicine. It is a part of the medical science of India. It is used as a treatment in Ayurveda traditional medicine.
Yoga can heal. It can brighten, it can strengthen, it can help you breathe again.
Yoga for the body can loosen, tone, reduce excess weight, it can relieve the effects of stress, assist insomnia,
rebalance hormones, settle the mind.
Yoga can slow you down, it can remind you to enjoy the simple moments.
Yoga will make a commitment to you, if you commit too. Yoga will, help you breathe better, Yoga will give you a different
point of view, Yoga will teach you how to stretch safely, Yoga will build muscle tone, and mostly,
Yoga should make you smile.
But for all of the above…they require some form of effort on your part.
If you want to learn a little more about the depths that Yoga can go for your inner healing, for your inner & outer balance,
then this series is one you would like.
We cover various subjects over successive series.
There is no rush. We have plenty of time, if we embrace each moment just as it is right now, we will learn what we need,
and we will remember what helps us the most.
Most of all, Yoga is fun, and if it is not fun, then it really is not Yoga.
